We're very glad she got to come home. There was talk of just releasing her to a rehab clinic, but I think she'll be much more comfortable and get more focused attention here. No one is waking her up three times a night to take her blood pressure and temperature, so she can really get some rest. Plus, there are kids and dogs here. She's getting around better and better everyday, although she still needs a walker and a spotter.
I'm not sure if she'll be up to visitors this afternoon or not. But if you would like to stop by to see her, call my cel phone (512/517-9487) or our home phone (830/839-4010), and we'll let you know how things are going. Thanks for all the flowers, prayers, and comments.
Chris

!!!!!!!!!!Julie's Home!!!!!!!!!
I can only imagine how much of a toll the ride home took on her & hope that she can recover from it soon today...
I'll touch base to see how she's doing later today. (I'll be in town most of the afternoon.)
I'm here for ya'll.
Hugs to everyone.
(Wish me luck w/Kristy's cats!)

Glad you are back with your family and animal friends.
See you soon and get well sooner!

The Cannings
Julie we are so glad to hear that you are home already. We have been praying for you every day, and are glad that you are back where you can do some real healing. It seems that we all seem to heal faster when surrounded by the people and things that we love. We will continue to pray for your quick recovery. If there is anything that I can do to make things easier please let me know. Love, Leah and the rest of the Wakefield clan
Yay!! So glad you're home!!
I'm so glad you're home. Hospitals can be unfriendly places. Glad you can eat your mom's cooking.
