I'll keep posting as I get updates. Thanks to all of you for your interest and supportive words and gestures.

Julie had a Vestibular Schwannoma, which is a tumor generating from the sheathing of the Vestibular, or balance, nerve. It was a large (2.7 cm) tumor originating in her right inner ear. The surgery to remove it, which took place on March 27th, lasted nearly eleven hours. But, by all accounts, it seems to have been very successful. This blog is a tool for friends and family to follow the progress of her surgery and recovery. Photo by Tina Amerson

Thanks so much for the update.
Just returned from feeding (& hanging out with...)the equines while being supervised (& babysat -if that's a word!) by the canines!
Everyone's doing fine @ the homestead!
Let me know if you need anything @ all...
I love ya'll & am so blessed to have you in my life.

(That last sentence is, of course, supposed to read: I love ya'll & am so blessed to have you ALL in my life.)
I'm new to the blogging on top of being a bit spastic, anyway!
I love you and your sense of humor!
