Angels

I finally took a picture of my angels. For those of you who are curious about my inspiration, here is an insert that I put in with each angel:

This is my thirteenth annual holiday ornament design.

Earlier this year I was diagnosed with a benign tumor of the brain, which was successfully removed. What I have seen overwhelmingly throughout this experience have been angels: obviously in the doctors and nurses, family and friends; but also in everyday people.
This angel is a variation of a previous composition, the main difference being the faces, which my daughter paints, as my fine motor skills are still on the mend. Each angel is signed and dated by the artists,
Julie and Kristen Erlon of Red Rock, Texas.
I sprang into action about a month before Christmas, and because of the concerted effort, I took no less than three naps on some days! I am still doling them out, but not unlike discovering the tumor, my motto is "better late than never"!
I trust everyone had a good holiday. Even though we seem to be in turbulent times, I feel that optimism abounds. Indeed - a return to glass, for me, can be considered a favourable auspice!
Love,
Jules
